Corn Stover, a new energy source for Ipod's and cell phones?

Apparently a possibility based on this article stating that Penn State Researchers that who

"are developing new ways to use corn stover, which are the dried stalks and leaves left over after a harvest, as a form of electricity generation."

Hmmm. maybe that will help my problem of always forgetting to recharge stuff...
